Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a herbaceous flowering plant and has been used as a spice
(an underground part of the stem, properly known as rhizome and typically used
as a spice) and medicinal herb for
thousands of years. Ginger is a part of the Zingiberaceae own family and Gingerol
is the primary therapeutic or bioactive compound of it. Moreover, other
antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds observed in the ginger are
capsaicin, caffeic acid, salicylate, beta-carotene, and curcumin.
It is also used to treat cough, cholera, migraine, bronchitis,

blood clotting disorder should not use garlic without medical advice as well.
As an adults dosage should not be more than 4
grams and for children up to 2 - 5 years, not be more than 2 miligrams of ginger per
day and it should not be given to children below 2 years, as well.
Sometimes, it can cause skin irritation, too.
